HMD 2011 The Villages of Darfur
This case study focuses on the Untold Story of those facing genocide today in Darfur. Focussing on entire villages which are being razed to the ground, students will explore the stories from these lost communities. Students will think about the stories of individuals and their memories which are lost in genocide and are invited to research and explore contemporary issues and the role we can all play in standing up to hatred and persecution, whether it’s in our own community or further afield.
